More than 4,200 Christmas packages were collected for needy children in Romania.
The Round Table 98 Bayreuth and the regional tables from Kulmbach, Coburg, Weiden, Schwandorf and Erlangen took in more than 4,200 Christmas packages for needy children in Romania. Most of them were packed together with children in participating kindergartens and schools and then brought to the same collection point as last year – a warehouse operated by Steinbach Spedition. The parcels were then put in boxes, loaded onto pallets and wrapped for transport.
The semitrailer with the Christmas packages will depart on December 5, 2015 and join up with the convoy starting in Hanau. The destination of the Bayreuth semitrailer is Petrosani, Romania, where the packages will be distributed.
